Any donation you can give will go a long way to help me meet my goal for Wells of Life's Run4Water (virtual) event in 2021! The people in rural Uganda need clean water to survive. It's that simple but we need your help to do it, one well at a time!
When I traveled to Uganda in 2019, it was a trip that changed my life forever. Meeting the people who live in the communities with no clean water was frightening. The people, usually women and young girls, walk great distances every day and gather standing water (from puddles and ditches) in filthy containers (I wouldn't even touch that water if you paid me)! The germs and disease in that water is terrifying. But, they have no other choice except to drink it, cook with it, and clean with it.
It was then that I knew I had to do something to help my neighbors in Uganda now, and for as long as I can!
Please help and support me in the 2021 Run4Water (virtual) event! My goal is to fund a new well for the people who need it most - they are counting on me, us, for our help! Any donation would be greatly appreciated!
